The Ambassador said that Pakistan and Türkiye enjoy excellent relations, particularly in defence and military cooperation, but there was a need to substantially expand their commercial and investment ties to translate their historic friendship into tangible economic benefits. Referring to the close brotherly relations among Pakistan and Türkiye , he emphasized that our countries should benefit from one another’s expertise, promote joint ventures and develop collaborative arrangements to access wider markets in both countries.

Describing Pakistan and Türkiye as attractive destinations for investment, Dr. Neziroğlu said that businesses in both countries should explore new avenues of cooperation, including infrastructure and development projects.  He proposed sector-specific visits between Pakistani and Turkish businessmen, to establish direct business linkages.

He assured that the Turkish Embassy is ready to facilitate such engagements and stressed the importance of regular interaction between the Embassy and ICCI leadership, supported by joint awareness programmes to familiarize the business communities with investment opportunities and avenues of bilateral cooperation.

Speaking on the occasion, ICCI President Mohammad Zikria Akbar Zia stressed that improved connectivity, infrastructure development and industrial collaboration were essential to unlocking the full potential of Pakistan-Türkiye economic relations.
