Customs Preventive foils attempt to smuggle mobile phones

LAHORE: The customs authorities deputed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport foiled a bid to smuggle mobile phones worth millions of rupees from Dubai to Islamabad.

The Customs officials, while checking the luggage of a passenger who was identified as Javed Amjad, recovered 300 mobile phones from his possession. The official said that the passenger had arrived from Dubai by flight no. 612 of Emirates Airline.
