Multan RTO forms committee for resolving issues of cotton ginners‏

MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office Multan of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has formed committee to resolve tax grievances of the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association.

Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan Khawaja Saleem Raza Asif formed the committee on the direction of Member Operation Inland Revenue Dr Muhammad Irshad to resolve their issues.

FBR Member Inland Revenue Operation Dr Irshad had visited the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association office in May where he ensured the association that issues of tax notices and refunds would be resolved.

The Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association have requested Federal Board of Revenue to issue their pending refunds  of less than Rs5 million as soon as possible.

Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association has given their three members names for the joint committee of RTO Multan and PCGA. Chief Commissioner RTO Multan Khawaja Asif Raza Saleem have announced the Commissioner Zubair Bilal committee head for resolving tax matters of PCGA.

The formed committee will discuss the tax notices issued by the RTO Multan to Cotton factories and pending refunds detail for the immediate disbursement of their funds.
