Customs Intelligence stepping up efforts to impound non-duty paid vehicles

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Anti-Smuggling Organisation is working hard to check and impound non-duty paid vehicles.

Sources said that Deputy Director Muhammad Azam Khan was personally taking keen interest and pursuing the officials for taking action against the culprits. The source said that Deputy Director Muhammad Azam Khan travelled from Karachi to Sukkur by road to keep check and balance over the performance of the officials.

During the visit Muhammad Azam Khan instructed the officials to keep vigilant round the clock. He also appreciated the performance of the officials for being active.

Reaching at the Sukkur range office, the deputy director also reviewed the process of auction held at the bungalow no 118 block 7 at Sukkur co-operative society and met with the customs officers.
