Sialkot Customs striving hard to achieve revenue targets: Ahmad Reza

SIALKOT: Model Customs Collectorate Collector Ahmed Reza Khan has said that all sections of the collectorate are working hard not only to achieve the revenue target for the current fiscal year but also surpass it.

Ahmed said that it was the responsibility of all employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to generate revenue in wake of taxes that is used for development works in the country. He added that all officers were also sharing hands with subordinate staff to achieve the target.

The Sialkot Customs has expedited process of recovery from defaulters, the collector said, adding that the department will seize the properties of the defaulters on not payment of dues and recovered amount by auctioning of the properties.

He said that the notices has already been issued to defaulters directed them to pay their dues with fine till June 30,2016 otherwise strict action will be taken against them as per law.
