LAHORE: The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) has ordered the appellant, Bhatti Ice Factory, to submit record to the Regional Tax Office (RTO) within thirty days, besides directing the RTO to process the record and allocate accurate amount of refunds to the factory.
After hearing the arguments of appellant’s counsel, FTO Advisor Muneeb Qureshi issued orders and adjourned the case for one month until July 9, 2016.
The counsel for appellant argued before the authority that RTO Zone-VII commissioner collected excessive taxes from the Bhatti Ice Factory and not paying the refunds. He appealed the authority to order the FBR for ensuring the tax refunds.
