ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan will hear the case of Additional Commissioner Regional Tax Office Lahore, Amna Naeem, on Monday.
According to sources, the official is facing charges of mis-conduct and violation of rules and regulations. Sources said that the inquiry officer, in his initial report, declared all allegations proved. The inquiry officer given the right to above mentioned official to file an appeal before the chairman if she is not satisfied with the investigations.
It is necessary to mention here that chairman FBR reserves the right to accept or reject all allegations without giving any reason. Now Additional Commissioner Amna Naeem decided to personally appear before the Chairman FBR to explain her position in the case.
