FST heard over a dozen cases filed by FBR employees during 2nd week of June

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) heard over a dozen cases carrying complaints of employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), challenging its policies relating to employees’ promotion, seniority and regularization during second week of June.

Three division benches of the FST comprising members, Muhammad Arshad Bhatti, Javed Iqbal Kasi, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah, Dr Nazir Saeed and Syed Hamid, heard the cases during the week.

A division bench of the FST comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the majority cases of differing nature filed against the FBR by its employees.

Najeeb Hussain, Shaukat Hussain, Mansoor Sadiq, Gulraiz Ahmed Raza, Amjad Farooq, Naveed Ali Khan, Shahzad Muhammad Aamir, Gohar Ali, Asim Muhammad, Mehboob Ali, Waqar Ahmed, Sayyar Ahmed, Khan Hameed, Adam Khan, Noor Hussain, Muhammad Mukhtiar and Fazal Hussain had filed complaints about promotion, suspension and other matters at FBR before the tribunal.

FST division bench comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the cases of Fakhr-e-Azam,  Chand Bibi, Sami-ul-Haq, Noor Jamal, Shafqat Rasool Sindhu and Iftikhar Qutab, Abida Aslam Rathor, Noureen Safna, Asif Jamal and Muhammad Aslam’s petition about promotion and regularization.

Another bench of FST comprising of Syed Hamid and Ishtiaq Ahmed heard the the case filed by Inam ul Haque about ‘implementation’ against FBR.
