Sialkot Customs arrests passenger trying to smuggle pistol to Sharjah

SIALKOT: Customs Preventive arrested a passenger of private air line and recovered an illegal pistol from his possession at Sialkot International Airport.

As per the details, a Passenger name Rab Nawaz resident of Jehlum was ready to go to Sharjah by a private airline from Sialkot International Airport. The Customs Preventive Incharge Muhammad Naseem and other staff investigate him and recovered an illegal weapon from him.

The Customs officials arrested him and asked him about the pistol but he had failed to give reasonable response. The Airport Police has registered a case against the suspect and shifted him to the Airport police Station. After interrogation, it was revealed that the accused is residing in Sharjah for a long time and he was involved in business of weapon selling in UAE. However, the Customs Preventive has foiled his attempt to smuggle weapon to UAE whereas he will be declared as blacklisted by the Customs Department and Police.
