NAB arrests accused involved in embezzlement case

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau has arrested another accused who is involved in embezzlement of funds in National Highway Authority.

According to sources of Customs Today on Thursday National accountability Bureau arrested an accused Brig. (R) Arif Khan who was involved in embezzlement in funds of National Highways Authority. Sources told that Arif Khan used fake power of attorney to use funds of NHA and caused huge loss to the national kitty.

Number of complaints were received against Brig. (R) retired Arif Khan. He made embezzlement to the national kitty in different projects of Lahore and other cities as well.

On Friday he was produced before the court accountability Lahore that sent approved his physical remand u to 14th of July. After physical remand he will be produced before the court again for further action.
