FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad has collected Rs 10.83 million from the auction of non-customs paid Toyota vehicles and others items during the first three week of June 2016.
It is necessary to mention here that all the collectorates of customs are using all available resources to meet the revenue collection targets as the current fiscal year is going to end.
The directorate auctioned seven vehicles and other’s seized goods and articles. The vehicles that were sold included Honda Citi, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Toyota Fielder car, Toyota Mark-X car, and others goods and articles.
The directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations Faisalabad held only two auctions during these period and sold impounded vehicles and seized goods and articles worth millions of rupees during the months under review.
The collectorate of customs Intelligence and Investigations auctioned other major non customs paid goods and articles including auto parts, foreign origin cloth, tyres and tubes, solar panel fan and other miscellaneous goods and articles.
The auction was under taken on the direction of Director Saud Imran Ahmad under the supervision of Deputy Director Muhammad Riaz Hussain while Superintendent Mahir Muhammad Rafique and Intelligence Officer Mansoor Nasir also participated in the auctions.
Meanwhile, only a participant showed interest in Toyota Corrola Car bearing No, 325 ( QTA ), which was auctioned for Rs 11,85000, cltoh Rs1,20,5000, Honda Citi No. 393 ( DGA ), Jaffrabad Rs 7,80,000, solar panel and fans worth Rs 5,70,000 while others 31 vehicle were changed in auto parts and sales Rs 2,13,0000, Honda Civic Car No, 834 ( QTA ), 79,5000, Toyota Corolla Car in Grey Colour No, ARB- 687 ( Sindh ) Rs 1125000, Toyota Fielder car No, AAL- 910 ( Quetta ) Rs 9,50,000, Toyota Corolla car No, MNZ- 49 Rs 5,00,000, Toyota Mark- X Car No, AAL- 757 ( Quetta ), Rs 15,93000 while some other items could not attract the participants.
