Vacant post of Appellate Tribunal chairman: SHC seeks para-wise comments

KARACHI: Sindh High Court has sought para-wise comments from Federal Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs by July 19 in a petition, submitted for immediate appointment of chairman to Special Customs Appellate Tribunals.

A divisional bench, comprising Justice Irfan Saddat Khan and Justice Arshad Hussai, sought the comments on the petition submitted by Ghulamullah and Zia-ul-Hasan Advocates. The importers and exporters are suffering due to inordinate delay in appointment of chairman of the Special Customs Appellate Tribubal, they submitted.
