LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling adjourned five pre-arrest bail pleas on Wednesday.
According to details available to Customs Today, lawyers observed a black day to show solidarity with Kashmiris who are bearing cruelty of the Indian Army in the valley. A number of cases were scheduled for hearing in the customs court that were adjourned for new dates. Five pre-arrest bail pleas, including from Tahir Hussain, Ihsanul Haq, Muhammad Saeed, Abdul Razzaq and Muhammad Tahir were also scheduled for hearing on Wednesday but the court adjourned the hearing for next week.
It is pertinent to mention here that in a bid to lodge its protest against Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir, raising the burning issue on the international level, Pakistan is observing ‘Black Day’. Pakistan Bar Council, Lahore Bar Council and Punjab Bar Council has also announced black day on Wednesday in which lawyers of customs court are also participating to show their solidarity with Kashmiri brothers.
