FST adjourns various cases against FBR on Thursday

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Thursday adjourned the hearing of several cases involving complaints against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

An FST bench comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard cases carrying matters of promotion and seniority. The bench adjourned the hearing of the cases to different dates with directions to the counsels.

These cases were filed by Gulzar Shah, M Arshad Hilali, Syed Rameezuddin Qadri, Muhammad Naeem, Faizullah Khan, Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Saleem Ismail Kiyani, Sarwar Hussain Qadri, Zulfikar Ahmad Dilshad, Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Ashraf Sail and Umer Khatab.

Gulzar Shah had filed a case regarding ‘counting of previous service’; Muhammad Arshad Hilali complained against not-granted seniority and rest of appellants had asked the tribunal to ensure provision of special allowances.

A division bench comprising Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi will hear four cases filed by employees of FBR on Friday. These cases have been filed by Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Musharraf, Sajjad Ahmed, and Sher Afgan Ali.
