Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 17 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: A division bench-II of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq, heard 17 cases on Thursday and adjourned all cases until next hearing.

According to the details, the tribunal heard 17 cases, including PEL versus Lahore Post Clearance Audit (PCA), Lahore Customs versus Asim Khan, Lahore Customs versus Amanullah, Ajmair Traders versus Lahore Customs, A.Z Apparel versus Faisalabad Customs.

Another case of A.Z Apparel versus Faisalabad Customs, Rashid Ahmed versus Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, two cases of Muhammad Anwar and Ali Muhammad versus Lahore Customs Intelligence were also heard.

The member also heard the cases of Muhammad Aslam versus Multan Customs, Al-Nafae versus Lahore Customs, J.K Fabric Mills versus Faisalabad Customs, Sambrial Customs versus Saeed Mahmood, Hamyoon Akber versus Lahore Customs, Rahim Bibi versus Lahore Customs, Lahore Customs versus Haroon Brothers and Momin Sons versus Lahore PCA.

Thursday was the last day of hearing in the current week. The tribunal will hear further cases in next week. Today on Friday and Saturday there is no case scheduled for hearing in the tribunal.
