FIA nabs human traffickers from Lahore, Gujranwala

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two human traffickers in different operations in different areas of Lahore and Gujranwala.

Sources told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided in a locality near Rahwali near Gujranwala and arrested an accused Jamshed and another proclaimed offender who was identified as Amir son of Raja Yaqub.

During another action, FIA team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Sadique who is involved in sending many people abroad on fake documents. The FIA has registered cases against these culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.

Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also looted millions of rupees by showing them golden dream of their lucid future abroad. FIA team also recovered passports and currency of different countries. FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
