Customs reshuffles staff at Wagah Border

LAHORE: Lahore Customs Collector Zulfiqar Younas has reassigned duties the inspectors of customs at the Land Freight Unit (LFU) Wagah Boarder.

As per the details, inspectors including Amjad Khan, Aslama Nadeem butt, Habbibur Rehman, Javaid Iqbal, Mehmood Zahoor, Meer Suleman, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Ali Iqbal, Muhammad Ashafaq Pracha, Muhammad Ashraf Qazi, Muhammad Javaid, Muhammad Khalid Butt, Muhammad Khalid Sadique, Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Yasin Watto, muzaffar Ali Khan, Muzafar Hussain, Rana Pervaiz Ahmad, Riaz ali Shah, Sheikh Mudassar Ahmad, Syed Ejaz Haider Zaidi, Syed Riaz Ahmad, Tahir Ali, Tariq Usmani and Waheed Khalid were posted at Export and Import sections at the Wagha LFU.

Similarly, the collector posted Waqar yousaf, Ghulam Jafar, Nasir Murtza, Naveed Ahasan, Asif Sohail, Khalid Nazir, Malik Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Arif Mayo, Muhammad Syed and others at the Passenger Facilitation Center at the Wagha.

The new posting of the inspectors have been under taken by the collector as per routine with immediate effect. The inspectors who have been given new would stand relieved from their old post to join the new assignment without fail.

Sources said that the routine reshuffling is under taken to enable all the inspectors to have knowledge of all the departments and sections of the Customs Department.
