Zahib Habib relinquished charge of registrar ATIR

ISLAMABAD: Zahid Habib relinquished charge of ‘registrar’ at the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) following repatriation of his services last week.

Ministry of Law and Justice had barred the Zahid Habib from performing his duties at the tribunal, following which relinquished his charge.

According to sources, Habib had been appointed at the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) from where he was transferred to the ATIR office as registrar.

The Ministry of Law and Justice repatriated Habib on account of a complaint, challenging his appointment as the registrar of tribunal.
