PESHAWAR: Pakistan Customs has arrested the main accused in the transshipment cargo replacement case.
Peshawar Collector Qurban Ali Shah had already directed the officials to arrest the accused as soon as possible. On the directive of Quban Ali, a team led by Deputy Collector Zahir Khan and comprising Superintendent Hamid Pervez and Inspectors Abdul Jalil and Nazim Ali Shah arrested Sajid Hussain of M/s Iqra Internationals.
In preliminary interrogations, the accused exposed all the details about the transshipment replacement business and disclosed the names of complete chain involved in this practice. Several FIRs have been lodged against M/s Iqra International including four by MCC Peshawar and one by MCC Appraisement West.
