Two-day Chief Commissioners Conference to start from 6th

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has convened a two-day Chief Commissioners Conference, which will start from October 6, to discuss revenue collection performance of Large Taxpayers Units (LTUs)/ Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) in the first quarter of ongoing fiscal year and chalk out policy to achieve targets.

According to a notification issued to all Chief Commissioners Inland Revenue of LTUs and RTOs, the conference will be held at the FBR Headquarters on October 06 (Thursday) and October 07 (Friday).

The FBR directed all the chief commissioners to attend the conference as per schedule. Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will also address the chief commissioners on the occasion, the notification said.

In the last Chief Commissioners Conference, which was held on January 8, Ishaq Dar had appreciated the performance of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for achieving the revenue collection target. The minister said the credit for the positive results goes to FBR Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan and his team which he said was ably guided by SAPM on Revenue, Haroon Akhtar Khan.
