Director Intelligence Saud Imran transfers two inspectors

SIALKOT: Director of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Saud Imran has transferred to inspectors the other day.

Sources told Customs Today that FBR has instructed all field formations that officers who are performing their duties at one place for  more than three years should be transferred to other places without any delay.

However, Director General Saud Imran has transferred Investigation Officer/Inspector Mian Muhammad Yousaf from Customs Intelligence and Investigation Gujranwala Region to Lahore Region whereas Investigation Officer/Inspector Nasar Ullah transferred from Lahore Region to Gujranwala Region.

Office Superintendent Sajjad Rubanni told Customs Today that the higher authorities are implementing instructions of FBR for transfer of officers and officials.

He said that department has sent a list to higher authorities of the officers who have been performing duties for the last three years at one place. He said that the higher authorities are considering to appoint a permanent deputy director at Gujranwala Region because the appointment of permanent Deputy Director is appropriate need of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department Gujranwala Region to curb smuggling and other official matters whereas authorities are requirting new staff to decrease shortage of staff.

He said that the performance of Gujranwala Region curb to smuggling is much better and it will also better day by day#
