ISLAMABAD: The heads of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and State Bank of Pakistan governor are set to brief the National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance today (Wednesday) regarding the latest progress on the Panama issue.
A source said that the FBR chairman will inform the committee that the tax department has sent more than 200 notices to the people who have been named in the Panama and Bahamas leaks.
FBR so far received 58 replies in the connection to the Panama scandal in which some denied their off-shore companies. PAC directed FBR to give more details after one month.
