FTO Abdul Rauf to visit SCCI today

SIALKOT: Federal Tax Ombudsmen (FTO) Abdul Rauf will visit Sialkot Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on October 5, 2016 on the invitation of SCCI management.

The FTO will address the business community during his visit whereas he will listen to the problems of business community related to tax, rebate refund, etc. SCCI Public Relations Officer Tajamal Hussain told Customs Today that the main purpose of the visit to SCCI is to know about the issues being faced by the business community.

He told so many matters of business community are pending with the Regional Tax Offices (RTOs), customs collectorate, etc. The SCCI invited FTO to hear the complaints of business community and solve their problems so that business community could run business and export freely and easily.

An official of FTO told that the FTO is authorised to listen complaints of business community and FTO decide all matters on merit basis whereas RTO’s and other related departments are bound to compliance of decisions of the FTO.
