ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of the Model Customs Collectorate has seized foreign origin fabric worth Rs 500,000 on October 9, 2016.
Officials told Customs Today that in pursuance of information of Collector office, the ASO raided GT Road and seized different kinds of foreign origin cloth.
Sources said that the smuggled fabric was loaded in a passenger bus which was coming from Peshawar. The ASO team seized it near Burhan,.
Sources adding that quantity of foreign origin smuggled fabric was seized under quantity of 810 kilograms, the sources also told that this quantity was seized during two different seizers.
This operation was conducted led by Inspector Asif and Superintend Zargam Dil, it was also told that FIR has been register against the offenders and case has referred to department for further investigation.
