KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of sauces, including salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and tomato ketchup under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969.
Earlier, the values of the said items were determined vide Valuation Ruling No 769/2015 dated November 11, 2015.
Following downward trend in international market prices, the directorate initiated an exercise to re-determine the values of the subject goods. The meetings were held with stakeholders on July 14, 2016 and August 9, 2016 to revise the values.
