KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed zero-rating facility on supply of gas to a spinning unit through a Sales Tax General Order No 122 of 2016.
According to a notification issued by Secretary (IR-ST &FE) Raza Ashfaq Sheikh, the FBR, exercising the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 4 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, made further amendments in its Sales Tax General Order No 09 of 2007 dated 13th September 2007.
Under the amendments, in the Table, serial number 1049 in column (1) and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4) will be added. The concession of zero-rated sales tax has been granted to Galaxy Textile Mills Limited.
The zero rating facility on supply of gas has been granted to Unique Spinning Mills (Pvt) Ltd.
