Prices of fruits, vegetables remain almost unchanged

ISLAMABAD: No major fluctuation has been observed in the prices of fruits and vegetables during the last week besides minor changes in few items in the federal capital.

According to the Islamabad Market Committee price list issued here on Saturday, rate of potato per kilogram is Rs 48, potato (Sweet) Rs 35, Onion Rs 42, Tomato Rs. 60, Ginger Rs 108, Garlic (China) Rs 285, Garlic Local Rs. 290, Lady Finger Rs 70, Pumpkin Rs 60, Brinjal Rs 70, Peas Rs 160, Farsh Bean Rs 85, Tinda (Walaiti) Rs 90, Cucumber Rs 62, Cucumber (Farm) Rs 74, Capsicum Rs 130/90, Green Chilli Rs 118, Cauliflower Rs 62/45, Cabbage Rs 40, Bitter Gourd Rs 120, Spinach Rs 27/22, Radish Rs 38, Turnip Rs 60, Yarn Rs 62, Maroo Rs 70, Carrot Rs 62, Chicken Rs 162 and Egg per dozen Rs 94.
