Collector Zulfiqar promotes two as head clerks

LAHORE: Model Customs Collectorate Preventive Collector Zulfiqar Younas has promoted two upper division clerks as head clerks on a temporary basis in the basic pay scale 14 until further orders.

The clerks who were elevated included Zafar Ali Shah and Shahzad Hussain. Zafar Shah has been posted at Wagah Land Fright Unit (LFU), while Hussain at Wagah Railways Station.

It was notified that the promotion is purely temporary and the incumbents concerns can be reverted to their original posts without reason being specified and without any prior notice.

It was also notified that the promoted officials will be on probation for a period of 12 months, which may be extended further by order either before or after the expiry of one year by any such period as may be stated therein.

The collector has urged the newly promoted officials to work with more diligence, honesty and devotion for the growth of the department.
