Faisalabad RTO collects Rs 3,740.9m during September

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 3,740.9 million during September against the set target of Rs 3,158 million.  The target is achieved up to 118 percent as compared to the same month of the last fiscal year.

Sources told Customs Today that the RTO Faisalabad collected Rs 2,203.615 million under the head of income tax against the set target of Rs 2,910 million. Sources said that Rs 1,536.518 million were collected as sales tax against the assigned target of Rs 196 million. It is important to mention here that the RTO collected Rs 0.822 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs 52 million during the said period.
