Collector Sarfraz assigns new responsibilities to deputy and assistant collectors

MULTAN: Collector Customs Collectorate Multan Sarfraz Ahmad Warriach has assigned various responsibilities to the newly posted deputy collectors and assistant collectors.

According to details, the collector has given Deputy Collector Saad Ata Rabbani the charge of Traffic and Air Freight Unit (Import and Export) Multan. Rabbani will also look after the traffic and AFU at Dera Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur airports. He will deal with all affairs of the Duty Free Shop at Multan International Airport. He is also given additional charge of audit, DTRE, and M.I.S.

Assistant Collector Muhammad Zohaib has been assigned charge of dry port which includes Import & Export, Export Terminal of Muzaffargarh. He will also deal with auction of confiscated goods and vehicles, recovery cell, bonds/manufacturing bonds/EOUs, licensing, law and FTO.

Collector Sarfraz Ahmad Warraich has given him charge of dry port considering his expertise in the export and import in his previous services.

Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram assigned tasks of Anti-Smuggling Organization of the MCC Multan. He will perform his responsibilities for operational functioning of the field formation in the jurisdiction. He will also hold charge of Multan Customs Headquarters to run their administrative matters along with budget, accounts, administration, general branch, statistical branch, customs branch, security. Collector Sarfraz Ahmad has handed over the charge of Refund and Rebate, Drug Enforcement Cell, I&P and Stateware House. Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram will also look after the future projects of Multan Customs initiated on the directions of Federal Board of Revenue.

It is important to mention that all charges of the Multan Customs were handed over to Deputy Collector Saad Ata Rabbani by Collector Sarfraz for the short time to run their administrative affairs of the Collectorate.
