FBR transfers officials of Gujranwala Customs Intelligence

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has transferred many employees of Gujranwala Custom Intelligence and Investigation.

According to details, Superintendent Muhammad Rauf Farooqi has been transferred to Peshawar Customs Intelligence, while Superintendent Tariq Rafique transferred from Gwadar Customs Intelligence to Gujranwala.

The FBR has transferred Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Anwar from Gujranwala to Islamabad and Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Sarwar from Lahore to Gujranwala.

Office Superintendent Sajjad Rubbani told Customs Today that Superintendent Muhmmad Rauf Farooqi has relinquished his charge whereas Superintendent Tariq Rafique has assumed charge.

Similarly, Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Anwar has also relinquished charge and Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Sarwar has assumed the assigned charge. He told that the FBR was transferring the officials who are performing duties at one place for last three years.

He said that transferred superintendent and deputy superintendent to Gujranwala region have good service record repute and they will work at Gujranwala region to curb smuggling, which is causing loss to national exchequer.

Superintendent Muhammad Rauf Farooqi said that the transfer is basic part of government service and every government officer has to obey the orders, adding that his service record was clean. Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Anwar said that he will perform his duty at assigned post with dedication.
