Multan Customs reshuffles 44 officials

MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate has reshuffled 44 employees, including a principal appraiser, superintendents, inspectors and others.

Deputy Collector Saad Ata Rabbani who has recently assumed the charge of headquarters has made reshuffling of employees to get effective results. He has posted Principal Appraiser Mehmood Ahmad Khan to recovery cell, Bonds Section and Licensing Branch from his existing duties at Multan Dry Port.

Superintendent Muhammad Asif Mumtaz has been posted at Customs Air Freight Unit (AFU), Superintendent Muhammad Yousaf Baloch and Superintendent Hassan Muhammad also transferred from recovery branch.

Inspector Saleem afzal, Inspector Jahangir Ali, Inspector Muhammad Ali Rizvi and Inspector Muhammad Farooq have been transferred from recovery branch. Inspector Maqsood Ahmad has been posted at State Warehouse Industrial Estate from security duties of Customs House, Inspector Farrukh Ghulam Abbas posted to Multan Dry Port from security and Inspector Arshad Nadeem posted at security of Customs House.

Inspector Arif Habib who was performing his responsibilities at the AFU (Export) has been transferred to International Airport Rahim Yar Khan (Traffic), Inspector Ghulam Abbas to DRRA branch and Inspector Zahid Mehmood to security of Customs House.

Three Inspectors including Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Asghar Chohan and Muhammad Altaf Kareem has been posted at AFU (Export) and they will also continue their existing charges.

Inspector Ghulam Asghar has been given the charge of assistant custodian of the state warehouse in addition to his existing charge and Inspector Muhammad Ramzan Sial has been posted to Admin branch.

Almost 22 other Multan Customs employees including havaldars, sepoys, dispatcher, naib qasid and drivers have also been reshuffled.
