FST adjourns hearing of several complaints filed by FBR employees on Wednesday

ISLAMABAD: Federal Service Tribunal on Wednesday adjourned hearing of complaints challenging Federal Board of Revenue’s administrative measures pertaining to employees’ ‘seniority’, ‘promotion’ and ‘dismissal’.

FST benches comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed and Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases.

FST bench comprising Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the cases filed by Muhammad Ishtiaq, Ghulam Ali Sahito and Syed Muhammad Rafi.

Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi adjourned hearing of cases of promotion, seniority and dismissal filed by Asghar Khan, Muhammad Ushaq,  Yameen Khan, and Muhammad Nawaz.

The appellants had prayed the tribunal to direct the board to implement regulations made for promotion of employees.

The appellants had approached the tribunal submitting complaints about ‘seniority’. The bench is likely to announce decision on coming hearing as the counsels had completed arguments on their respective cases on Wednesday.
