FAISALABAD: Customs Deputy Collector Rana Falik Shair has directed the recovery branch to recover pending dues for fiscal year 2013-14.
Sources said that the deputy collector has ordered the officer, Superintendent Mukhtar Hussain ,to make his department active, operational and focus on achieving recovery targets in the least possible time.
He issued directions to Inspector Tanveerul Haq and Amir Mumtaz Bajwa along with the superintendent for recovery of government dues relating to DP No 1038, 1044, 1046, and 1054 of fiscal year 2013-14, besides directing them to complete the task within one week.
The DC briefed about the recovery in various departments in the light of targets fixed for the current financial year.
He urged the officers to improve their performance and ensure maximum recovery so that the financial position of Faisalabad Customs could be strengthened. He also directed all other officials to further expedite recovery campaign and assign the duty to all subordinate officers in this connection.
