Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns 13 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal division bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 13 cases and adjourned all the cases until the next date of hearing.

The Customs Tribunal adjourned 13 cases, included Customs Multan versus Kokab Enterprises, Nazir Hussain versus Customs Multan; Advance International versus Customs Lahore, Hafiz Muhammad Tariq Butt versus Customs Lahore, Collector Customs Sambrial seven appeals versus National Machinery, and JSF Enterprises versus Customs Lahore,

On Thursday, the tribunal heard cases, including Shaukat Ali versus directorate of intelligence and investigation Gujarat, Muhammad Yousaf versus customs Lahore, Tooay past versus Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore, Abdul Rehman versus customs Multan, directorate of intelligence and investigation Faisalabad versus Muhammad Akram Chohan and directorate of intelligence and investigation Faisalabad versus Arif Abdullah. Danish Traders versus Customs Lahore, Collector Customs Lahore versus Riaz Brothers, Shanshah Traders versus Customs Lahore

In all cases, the representatives of the appellant and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favour of their respective parties. After hearing arguments from both parties, the Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned the case till next date of hearing.

Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-I not heard any case because no any case was fixed for hearing in the bench-I. From the next week tribunal will hears cases regularly.

It is pertaining to mentioned here that customs appellate tribunal hears case only first four days of the week and last two days Friday and Saturday not any case heard by the Tribunal.
