FIA nabs human trafficker from Kot Momin

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely Muhammad Rafique son of Ghulam Muhammad who is a resident of Kot Momin district Sargodha during an action.

Sources told Customs Today that FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub inspector Muhammad Nadeem conducted a raid along with his team and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them.

The accused extorted Rs 5,50,000 from a person Muhammad Riaz for sending him Saudi Arabia on employment visa.  However, he failed to fulfill his commitment.

The officials sent the accused behind bar after registering a case of human smuggling against him under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979. Further investigations are still in progress till filing of this news.
