KSE 100 index closes higher with 45857.89 points

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Tuesday having 45857.89 points with a positive change of 470.66 and volume of 193,870,650 shares.

High and Low were 46126.21 and 45387.23 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 383,046,250 shares with 407 total traded companies out of which 146 were up 239 were down and 22 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 62,543,700 shares. It was followed by TRANSPORT with a total traded volume of 40,706,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were Pak Int.Bulk with a volume of 28,440,500 and price per share of 34.73 (1.08), Oil & Gas Dev.XD with a volume 15,501,900 of price per share of 162.85 (6.91), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 14,284,000 of price per share of 43.47 (1.39).

The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 5850.00 (150.00), Philip Morris Pak. price per share of 2326.21 (111.50) and Mari Petroleum share of 1307.67 (62.27).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4702.33 (247.33), Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 8800.00 (202.50) and Indus DyeingXD share of 766.65 (40.35).
