KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Tuesday having 46920.47 points with a positive change of 230.74 and volume of 90,435,660 shares.
High and Low were 46985.65 and 46685.76 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 198,613,360 shares with 393 total traded companies out of which 200 were up 172 were down and 21 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 27,846,000 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 23,703,750 shares.
The three top traded companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 15,208,500 and price per share of 37.23 (1.09), B.O.Punjab with a volume 13,739,500 of price per share of 17.58 (0.37), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 13,029,000 of price per share of 10.68 (0.20).
