The FBR chairman said that outstanding issues of the business community will be decided soon. Sources said that the FBR chairman assured the FTO that he will pay more attention on field formations and field offices of the FBR, because most of the complaints received by the FTO relate to the field offices.

The Federal Tax Ombudsman has also lauded the work and the performance of Chairman FBR during his tenure of chairmanship. It is pertinent to mention here that chairman FBR Nisar Mohammad Khan is going to retire from service on January 17, 2017.

FTO Abdul Rauf lauded the services rendered by Nisar Mohammad as chairman Federal Board of Revenue. He said that during his tenure, FBR first time achieve the revenue targets without reviewing on it and this was great success of FBR. Chairman FBR appreciated the help and the supporting role of FTO for resolving the tax and revenue related matters between the FBR and business community.
