FIA detains notorious human trafficker from Toba Tek Singh

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely Naveed shahzad son of Abdul Rasheed residential District Toba Tek Singh.

Sources told Customs Today that accused was running illegal business of sending innocent people to abroad after extorting huge amounts from them.

Customs sources said that Muhammad Naveed extorted Rs360,000 from victim Muhammad Saeed on employment visa to Libya. The accused also promising to others many people to send abroad on employment visa specially Libya. After receiving information, FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi along with his conducted raid at his resident place and arrested the accused.

During searching of the residence the FIA team recovered passports and several fake visas of different countries from his possession.

The officials sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case No 239/2016 against him under section (U/S), 17/22 Emigration ordinance (E.O), 1979.
