The team intercepted a vehicle bearing registration No: ARA-929 (Sindh-Karachi) Model 2005 near Mosa Khail Pindi Road, Mianwali which was driven by Amiad Ali Khan son of Assmar Ali Khan. The ASO team asked the suspect to produce documents regarding legal import of the vehicle. He produced photo copy of registration book which was found bogus.

Therefore, ASO Mainwali team after finding some discrepancies seized the vehicle under section 168 of the Customs Act 1969 by adopting all the legal formalities for further verification and lab test.

Superintendent ASO Mianwali forwarded the case to Customs Adjudication for further proceedings. Collector Zulfiqar Chaudhary has appreciated the performance of the Mianwali ASO which foiled various smuggled bids in the region.
