FIA arrests two human traffickers from Faisalabad Region

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two notorious human-traffickers from different cities of Faisalabad Division. The FIA has registered separate cases against the culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.

Sources told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided different areas of the division and arrested human trafficker namely Muhammad Asim son of Muhammad Azeem Resident of check no. 83 JB gill. The accused extorted Rs700,000 from complaint person for overseas employment to Canada but he remained failed to send the accused persons abroad.

FIA officials sent the accused behind the bars under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979.

Sources added another accused Zahid Iqbal son of Muhammud Rayaz resident of check no.238 extorted millions of Rupees from 300 people. The FIA after registering a case of human smuggling against him started further investigations. Arrested accused persons were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also in looted millions of rupees.

During the investigation the FIA recovered passports and fake stamp visas of different countries from their possession.
