Faisalabad FIA arrests human trafficker

FAISALABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker from Sargodha city during a successful action.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub Inspector Muhammad Sohail Awan conducted raid in residential area of Sargodha. During the raid the FIA team arrested a human trafficker who was identified as Muhammad Touqeer son of Manzoor Ahmed.

As per the details, the accused was running an illegal business of sending innocent people to abroad after extorting huge amounts from them after showing golden dreams of their lucid future abroad.

Muhmmad Touqeer was involved in several cases of fraud, money extortion and sending people abroad by using illegal and inhuman means. Accused extorted Rs400,000 from the complainant Syed Sajjad for overseas employment to Doubai. The FIA team recovered Pakistani passports, stamp and others fake documents from the accused.

The FIA officials after registering a case No, 497/2016 dated 12-11-2016 of human trafficking and sent the accused behind the bars under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979.
