QUETTA: The Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) intelligence wing has seized smuggled cigarettes worth Rs 4.6 million.
According to the sources, the FBR I&I wing officials, along with the Frontier Corps personnel, signalled a bus to stop near Airport Chowk, Chaman, but the driver of the bus sped away.
The FBR officials and the FC personnel chased the vehicle, which led to the recovery of imported cigarettes hidden in specially designed secret cavities in the floor and roof of the bus.
