FIA arrests person involved in human smuggling from Toba Tek Singh

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a person who is allegedly involved in human trafficking.

Sources told to Customs Today, that FIA received information that a human smuggler is running illegal business of sending people abroad after extorting huge amount from them.

The authorities constituted a team under the supervision of Deputy Director Syed Imam Ali Zaidi and Inspector Sohail Awan. The team raided the residential place and arrested Muhammad Ramzan son of Muhammad Abdullah.

FIA team also recovered fake documents, medical documents, visa stamps of different countries and other illegal documents from the residence of human smugglers. It is necessary to mention here that accused extorted Rs.8,85,000 from Muhammad Asif Nadeem for overseas employment to Saudi Arabia.

FIA team after registering a case no: 105/2016 of human smuggling against human smuggler under section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance and started further investigations.
