Human trafficker sentenced to 15-year imprisonment

FAISALABAD: Special Central Judge Sohaib Ahmed Romi sent an accused to jail who was involved in human trafficking. The accused set up his offices in different areas of Faisalabad city.

Federal Investigation Agency’s Deputy Director Syed Imam Ali Zaidi raided the office of the accused and arrested him. The accused used to run an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after taking big amounts from them. An FIR No: 30/2013 was registered against him under Section (U/S), 17/22 E.O 1979 on victim’s application.

He was sentenced to 15-year imprisonment and a fine of Rs700000 by the special central judge.
