FIA captures four human traffickers from Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad has arrested four notorious human traffickers from different areas of the city.

Sources told Customs Today that Anti-Human Trafficking Cell of the agency raided different areas of Faisalabad division and arrested human trafficker named Haris Rafique, a resident of Sargodha. The accused gulled Rs965000 from Complainant Sajid Mustafa r/o Sargodha for sending him to Oman but failed. The FIA team registered an FIR No. 26/17 dated: 12. 1. 17 under Section (u/s ), 17/22.

Another Tanveer Ijaaz and Manzar Hussain (Brothers) s/o Khadim Hussain, residents of Chak: No 133 R.B Jhumra, Faisalabad, have been arrested on the allegation of gulling Rs560000 from a person for sending him abroad on employment visa but failed. The FIA, after registering a case No: 78/2016 of human smuggling against him, started investigations.

The fourth accused namely Habib-ur-Rehman son of Faiz Mohammad, a resident of district Kamlia, has been arrested on Tuesday. The accused has gulled Rs790000 from complainant Zafran Sarwar for sending him and his cousin to Oman for employment.

All accused were arrested from different cities of Faisalabad division. The FIA has registered separate cases against the culprits under Sections of Human Smuggling and Fraud with citizens.

The FIA also recovered passports and fake stamp visas of different countries from their possession. The FIA has shifted them to undisclosed place for further investigations.
