Deputy Collector Asma Hameed issues ONO in favor of ASO Sara-e-Muhajir

FAISALABAD: Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Asma Hameed issued Order in Original (ONO) in the favor of Customs Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Sara-e-Muhajir.

According to details, a team of the Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) recovered 80 bags of smuggled black paper from a Hino truck with registration No: Z-7127 (Peshawar) near Dagil, District Bhakar.

Reportedly, the driver remained failed to provide documents regarding legal import of goods. The ASO team seized the said items. The seizure report along with enclosures was submitted to adjudication authority for further proceeding.

During the proceedings, Inspector Muhammad Umar Bhatti appeared from the petitioner side whereas no one appeared from the respondent side.

The customs adjudication decided the case on the basis of the facts available. After hearing the case, deputy Collector Asma Hameed issued ONO in favor of ASO Sara-e-Muhajir under section 156(1)89 of the Customs Act 1969.
