Faisalabad Excise generates Rs9.49m cotton fee in first seven months of FY 2016-17

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation department collected Rs9.49 million as cotton fee during first seven months (July 2016- January 2017) of current fiscal year 2016-17 by achieving 39 percent of the assigned target for the year. The government has assigned Rs23.3 million target to the Faisalabad region in wake of cotton fee.

The excise has collected Rs1.50 million as cotton fee from Faisalabad region against the yearly target of Rs3.57 million, which has been achieved by 37 percent so far.

The Jhang Excise collected Rs885,959  by marking 21 percent achievement of the target that is Rs 3.792 million.

However, the Chiniot Excise collected Rs168,380 under the head of cotton fee against the assigned target of Rs866,000 for the year and achieved 17 percent of the target.

The Toba Tek Singh Excise collected Rs6.396 million against the assigned target of Rs15.071 million for the year and achieved the target by  40 percent.
