FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker from Faisalabad city during an intelligence based operation.
Deputy Director FIA Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Hanif arrested a human trafficker who was identified as Arshad Jamil, a resident of Dijkot.
Sources said the accused was running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after gulling huge amounts from them. Arshad Jamil was involved in several cases of fraud and sending people abroad by using fake and forged documents. The accused gulled Rs400000 from Asghar Ali, a resident of Jaranwala, Faisalabad, for an employment in Canada.
The FIA team recovered five Pakistani passports, different stamps and other fake documents from the accused. The FIA officials, after registering a case of human trafficking against the accused, shifted him to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
